Description: USLYCOWG is a computer model that estimates yields in cubic feet per acre from unthinned slash and loblolly pine plantations established on cutover sites in the West Gulf states. However, most stumpage in the West Gulf region is sold in other volumetric units, such as cords, tons, and board feet, or by weight. A series of computer routines has been developed that converts USLYCOWG yields in cubic feet to tons of fuel chips, cords of pulpwood and chip'n'saw logs, and board feet of sawtimber, or weights of all products in tons.
