Description: This report describes results of research conducted in 2000 to develop models of suitable habitat for juvenile bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) in Washington State. The research is associated with a cooperative agreement (Agreement #134100H001) between U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the U.S. Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS). The basic objective for the project is to define characteristics of suitable habitat supporting young juvenile and resident bull trout. This information will be used for the purpose of improving management and recovery of this threatened species.
