Description: The second (1967) survey of Indiana's 4 million forested acres shows 3.5 billion cubic feet of growing stock on 3.9 million acres of commercial forest land. Presented are statistics on timber area, volume, growth, mortality, and use. Projections of timber growth, removals, and inventory are made to 1992, and possible future changes in the forest are discussed.
