Description: The fourth inventory of Wisconsin's timber resource shows that commercial forest area in the Southeast Survey Unit increased from 904 to 909 thousand acres between 1968 and 1983. During the same period growing-stock volume increased 37%. Highlights and statistics are presented on area, volume, growth, mortality, and removals.
