Title: Structure and biomass production of one- to seven-year-old intensively cultured jack pine plantation in Wisconsin.

Description: Spacing and rotation length effects were studied for 7 years in intensively cultured jack pine stands. Production culminated at age 5 in the densest planting and progressively later in more open spacing. Biomass production was two to several times higher than in jack pine plantations grown under traditional silvicultural systems.
