Description: The undersize and underinflated tire is one of the costliest problems in Appalachian logging. Overloaded and underinflated tires cause excessive wear and expensive early replacement. In seeking a solution to this problem, we have developed a method that can be used for choosing the correct tire size and inflation pressure for a particular skidder.
