Description: Visual symptoms are described for leaves of yellow-poplar seedlings supplied N, P. and K in varying concentrations ranging from minimal to excessive. Probability of growth responses to added N is high when tissue levels are below 2 percent; no response is likely when they exceed 3 percent.
