Description: This is the second in a series of three reports on experimental fumigation for complete kill of the European pine shoot moth on pines in residential areas and nurseries. It describes the procedures and equipment that were developed and used for the actual fumigation tests described in the other two reports. Tests were made concerning the physical control of gas concentration in the three types and various sizes of portable chambers that were fabricated. Recommendations for the proper use and care of fumigation equipment are made for the use of operators concerned with fumigating infested trees in residential areas and nurseries.
