Description: This statistical report on timber resources of the 4.1-million-acre Wood-Salcha block is the last of four reports on the 14-million-acre Tanana Valley inventory unit. Tables are provided for commercial and operable noncommercial forest land, total gross and net volumes, and annual net growth and mortality. Estimates for commercial forest land total 626,300 acres with 799,374,800 net cubic feet of growing stock volume. Estimates for the special operable noncommercial class total 94,400 acres with 117,812,500 net cubic feet of growing stock volume.
