Description: An interim definition of old-growth, seasonally wet, oak-hardwood woodlands is presented to assist in management of these communities until comprehensive definitions based on research can be formulated. The basic criteria for identifying old-growth, seasonally wet, oak-hardwood woodland communities in the South are also presented.
