Description: Forest vegetation classified by habitat types and community types in Arizona and New Mexico are tabulated. Eleven series and 123 habitat and community types are identified; however, these habitat types and community types have been grouped into a lesser number of categories having similar characteristics or synonymous names. The table includes the name, location, relative site, successional status, tree and principal undergrowth associates, and the authority.
