Description: Nine seed sources of Ctyptomeriojaponicafrom the northern portion of its range in Japan were tested in the Upper Coastal Plain of central Georgia. Although these sources varied significantly in their rates of growth in the nursery, only 3 of 180 trees survived after 5 years in the field.
