Title: Invertebrates of Meadow Creek, Union County, Oregon, and their use as food by trout.

Description: From 1976 to 1980, invertebrates were collected three times each year from several reaches of Meadow Creek in eastern Oregon. Five sampling methods were used: benthos, drift, sticky traps, water traps, and fish stomachs. A total of 372 taxa were identified, of which 239 were used as food by rainbow trout (steelhead; Salmo gairdneri Richardson). Of the taxa found in trout stomachs, 71 (29.5 percent) were terrestrial.
